We facilitate on line problem solving with client teams of 4 to 6 employees.  But we also train executive teams to support our efforts to improve their businesses with the on-line work.  And occasionally an executive may need help with special coaching to support the efforts of absorbing the massive information extracted from our training program.

An old definition of a Consultant is someone who borrows your watch to tell you the time.  In most cases that is true.  But in problem solving, a system needs to be in place to insure that solving a problem is not a one time thing.  So our approach is defined for you in the column to the right.  It works and has been working for us for over 35 years with High ROI Results.

Step 1 - Identify the Problem

We work with the team to get clear on the problem that is being solved.

Step 2 - Establish the Root Cause of the Problem

Very often the team has identified the problem as a symptom of a bigger problem and so we have a separate step to make sure that we are solving the problem and not the symptom.

Step 3 - Size the Problem in annual cost

This is probably the hardest part of the process.  The team has to total the annual costs that this problem creates for the company.  It involves getting a lot of the company involved because it measures the negative effect of the problem to the company.

Step 4 - Propose a solution to Management

The team develops their solution with the 100 to 1 ROI.  They detail the steps including responsibilities and time lines for proposed implementation schedule.  They present their case to the manager who funded their project.

Step 5 - Implementation & Measurement

The team implements the project according to its plan.  And this turns our to be the most important part of the project: measurement of the monthly results to demonstrate project successs.
